The members of the Board, the Director, the employees and the people living in E.G.N.Y.A. wish you health and happiness and the resurrection of the Lord to bring hope and warmth in the hearts of all people. STEGI’s interior guests celebrated the day of Easter with the traditional lamp, rich dishes, singing and dancing.
STEGI’S cycling team participated with 5 athletes in Regional Games cycling of Central Greece that were organized by the Special Olympics on 6 and 7 May 2014 in Chalkida. We gained many awards: Theodosis Nikolakos, Despoina Artemi and Maria Mandali conquered the first place of men’s and women’s in 500 meters, Sotiris Kateris the third and Nikos Grammenos the fourth.
On Tuesday, May 13, STEGI’s basketball team participated in the 16th tournament Basket-Ball 3 on 3 organized by the Foundation for the child “The PAMMAKARISTOS” at sports facilities in Nea Makri of Attica. We thank the officers of the Foundation for the beautiful and creative morning that granted to our guests.
On Wednesday 11th and Thursday, June 12th, our guests of E.G.N.Y.A. participated in the Greek Special Olympics – Athens 2014, which held in the Municipal Sports Swimming Glyfada’s Centre “MATTHEW LIOUGKAS” and won prizes!

The Board of EGNYA, parents, supporters and friends attended the sanctification which held in our facilities. Let’s all have a Happy New Year!
Our children attended the Cirque du Soleil-Quidam. We thank the Idrima Kokkori for offering the tickets and giving us a wonderful evening!
At the initiative of the UPS of Greece held on our site a volunteering celebration ! Seventy volunteers of UPS company undertook the coloring of our shelters and prepare peach jam for our bazaar. After finishing work lunched together with our children by offering our pizza. Great time ! We thank them all for their contribution in labor and materials and the smile you gave to our children!
Once again the Alumni Schools “GEITONAS” came to Stegi. The team “DRO” (Act) visited us and entertained our children with games and gymnastics. We had a great time and we thank them!
For yet another year our children paraded with honor and glory and laid a wreath at the war memorial paying tribute and memory in Greek people, who said “NO” in the fascist attack on October 28, 1940. We filled pride!
